This was the most romantic wedding I have ever worked on and I loved it!!!
The bride, Hannah, looked amazing in her Great Grandmother’s wedding dress which had not been worn for over one hundred years. The dress was so rare that the Victoria and Albert museum had offered to clean and restore it for the wedding.
Hannah looked amazing and carried a delicate tied bunch in keeping with the country theme. The church was filled to the brim with summer scented flowers enhancing the already very romanic feel. June is the ideal time to use peonies, sweet peas, foxgloves, delphinium, lavender, scabios , stocks, phlox and big blowsy hydrangeas (how delicious) mixed with all the lovely silver and lime greens you can pick from the garden, and of course herbs, always a good thing to plant in your cutting garden to use when arranging.
