What a fun day we had at Bush Farm Somerset. Twelve ladies came to learn how to arrange flowers on one of our full day courses. A very relaxed atmosphere, arriving at 10.30am for a coffee and a Danish. Then a case of "hey girls enough chat, its time to learn something about flowers!" We had stocked up with a good mix of flowers for them to choose from. First we started them with the basics of a centre piece for a dinning room table and then once we had their attention we moved them onto a hand tide bunch of fresh hand picked flowers. Many of our previous pupils have told us how lovely it is to pick flowers from your own garden to take to a lunch or dinner party.
As the day progressed there was the occasional squabble over the best ecstasy roses or the most blowsy peony, but that's to be expected once they get into it and start taking it seriously
