Wincanton Races - Ladies Day

We had a wonderful Ladies Day on 15th May. Prizes for best dressed lady and best hat drew some beautifully turned out ladies. The winners were rewarded with our bouquets of summer roses.

Key to the door

April 21^st  - 21^st party near in Somerset.  The party wasn’t spoilt despite the horrible, cold, wet evening.  Everyone turned up in their masks for a splendid evening, in the black and white marquee.  Twigs in vases lit up were very effected and fun was had by all.

April Fool

April 1^st – Governors Dinner before the Easter holiday at Millfield – they wanted something simply but with a wow of colour.

Summer in January

Look out for "Summer In January" a beautiful film shot in Cornwall with Dominic Cooper and Daniel Stevens about a Munnings and Newlyn equestrian artist. We dressed the church for the wedding scenes which looked really wonderful.  

Royal Wedding Celebration!

A pre-wedding party in a beautiful house on the eve of the royal wedding, celebrations all round, the colours toned in with the wonderful art filled rooms. Beware of the Hockney!!!! The flowers had to look like a true english country garden in full summer bloom. The perfect time for fresh flowers, peonies, roses, lilies, solemn seal and phlox. The bathrooms were treated with vases bursting with heavily scented blooms, Hyacinths!

Grandpa's 80th

A small gathering of family and friends in a rural Wiltshire village. Potted shrimps, roast beef with all the trimmings (don't forget the Yorkshires) followed by treacle tart and custard. The table was decorated with spring plants which we left in pots so that he could plant them out after the big day was over.
